I got burned with oil while cooking my braised pork shanks tonight. It’s not as bad as it looks, but I did blister so I wanted to cover it. It would have been not as bad if I treated it right away, but since I grew up in a kitchen, the cook in me finished what I was doing until I had time to break and tend the injury.
Unless I’m bleeding, the food comes first.
